Chairperson Wen-Chuan Lin (林文川) of the Department of English visits the University of Texas at Dallase to explore the possibilities of developing the internship program and the cross-national online joint course. Then he presents a paper (titled "The Development of Intercultural Competence and Foreign Language Learning through Online Exchange: Taiwanese Students' Experiences") at the 24th International Conference of the International Association for Intercultural Communication Studies held at DePaul University on July 5-8 in Chicago.
